Triveni refers to the Sangam of 3 holy rivers found at Prayag in India. They are Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. This most holy site is also known as Prayag Raj, as it is revered as the King of all Tirth Sthaan in India. Considered to be Pavitra, it is believed that all Hindus and indeed all people can be absolved of sins if they take a bath in this holy confluence of sacred rivers. Read more
